The HME 333G012R is the OEM Saw-Cut retro-fit loop wire kit used when a drive-thru lane has already been poured and a new inductive loop must be installed or an existing failed loop must be replaced. It is also known as HME part number 400G766A (Retro-Fit Loop Saw-Cut Kit). A saw is used to cut a narrow slot in the existing concrete or asphalt pavement, the loop wire is laid into the slot in a rectangular pattern, and the slot is sealed with loop sealant to protect the wire from traffic and moisture — creating a reliable underground inductive loop for vehicle detection. This wire is the essential starting point for any saw-cut loop installation or repair at the menu board, cashier window, or present window detection points.
