3M D-Series Intercoms

RDM D-Series Intercoms

The RDM D-series Intercoms (D15, D20, D120) and the D30 intracom have been tried and true workhorses of the QSR and C-store/Travel Center industry for decades. The D15 model DA is still in production and has been since the early 80s. It is an industry favorite because of its incredible durability and simplicity of use. The D-30 intracom (with or without the R30 remote station) has been discontinued for over 12 years now, but we continue to service them because so many are still running in QSRs all over. The D20 6-channel intercom is still in production, and it is a very reliable communications system used in C-stores that only require 6 stations or less. The D120 12-channel intercom has been discontinued for several years since it has been superceded by the Performance Series, but we still service the units. The D20v and D120v are versions of the intercoms that have built in gooseneck microphones.

3M Performance Series

RDM Performance Series

The RDM Performance Series was developed as a successor to the D120/D120v and is currently in production. It consists of a compact controller that rests on the counter and a controller that resides under the counter or in an equipment room. The system can handle up to 24 stations (which depends on the number of I/O cards installed inside the controller). The system allows the operator to answer incoming calls in order of receipt. It is also possible to assign one station priority over all others. Multiple selectors can be used with the system to allow the calls to be answered from more than one location within the facility.

3M Signature Series

RDM Signature Series

The RDM C5000 Signature Series was recently discontinued but many systems are still in service in travel centers, large c-stores and some restaurants with curbside to-go service. It consists of a compact controller that rests on the counter and a controller that resides under the counter or in an equipment room. It can interface with RDM wireless headset systems, and when you use it with multiple selectors, operators can communicate with two different customers simultaneously. There are two different types of selectors. The newer version is the same type as the Performance Series.
